Noelle trained as a registered nurse through London South Bank University in Paediatrics at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and Adult's at The Hammersmith Hospital London
Her nursing career in Leg Lengthening & Reconstruction has taken her from London to Dublin, USA, Dubai, Brisbane & now Sydney, where she established an 'Independent Nursing Service' -
Limb Reconstruction Patient Support - Australasia
This service provides individualised & condition specific education, preparation, nursing care and ongoing psychosocial, emotional and physical support to patients and their families undergoing Lengthening and Reconstruction. The service is provided within the home environment and the clinical setting, post referral from, and in direct liaison with, the patient's Orthopaedic Specialists
Noelle has over 20 years experience worldwide in providing the support, coordination and delivery of care required specifically by patients and their families undergoing Leg lengthening & Reconstruction for major orthopaedic conditions due to trauma, infection, cancer, deformity or short stature.
Noelle is currently studying a Masters in Nurse Practitioner - Limb Reconstruction as the only NP candidate in Australia with knowledge, experience and expertise in nursing both adults and children under going Leg Lengthening & Reconstruction.
She is an associate member of the Australian & the British Limb Lengthening & Reconstruction Societies (ALLARS & BLRS) and has been instrumental in the development of three Leg Lengthening & Reconstruction Services through out her career, in Dublin, Ireland, Brisbane, Qld and now here in Sydney, Australia.
